Call (401) 347-6390A beautiful shower starts with a measured plan.
Choosing custom frameless shower glass is about how your bathroom looks and how it works every day. Here is what to prepare before your Massachusetts project moves from an idea to fabrication.
Start with the way you use the room
Consider the entrance, the direction a door would open, the nearby vanity and where towels will hang. Share a front-facing photo that includes the entire opening and surrounding fixtures. A photo helps us discuss a design; it cannot establish fabrication dimensions.
Choose a layout, then confirm the details
A hinged door can work between two finished walls. A door with a fixed panel can span a wider opening. A corner enclosure may need a return panel. A walk-in screen offers an open entrance, but its suitability depends on the shower layout and water containment.
Tell us about benches, knee walls, angled ceilings or other features that affect the glass. The layout, support and clearances are reviewed together before a design is approved.
Why the final measurement matters
Horus uses laser measurements and checks the finished opening on site. We review wall alignment, thresholds and door clearances before confirming the production drawing. Final measurement depends on the finished surfaces that determine the glass fit, so share your tile schedule early.
Accuracy is a priority, and that means taking time to review the actual bathroom. Rough dimensions and a digital preview are useful planning tools; the measured and approved design guides fabrication.
Compare the full scope of a quote
Opening size, the number of glass pieces, custom shapes, hardware and installation access all affect your project. Ask what is included in measurement, supply, installation and delivery, and confirm your selected finishes before approving production.
Our focus is quality and careful installation. A quote should describe your enclosure clearly enough that you know what is being made for your home.
Coordinate with your remodeling team
If a builder, tile installer or designer is involved, share the project schedule and any drawings with Horus. Discuss glass support and hardware placement before the surrounding work is finalized. We confirm the installation requirements for the approved enclosure.
From planning to installation
How do I open a shower glass order with rough measurements?
Start in the online shower studio with a photo and optional rough measurements. Submit your contact details and Massachusetts project address to receive a project number, then use your tracker to choose an available measurement time and follow progress. No account or upfront payment is needed to submit the request. Horus confirms your final dimensions, design and price before a signed approval and production deposit.
Can I start before the tile is finished?
Yes. Send your photos, plans and schedule for an initial conversation. The final field measurement must reflect the finished surfaces that determine the glass fit.
Can you match my bathroom hardware?
Share your preferred finish when you request the project. Horus uses CRL hardware and confirms the available finish and hardware suitable for the approved glass design.
What happens after measurement?
We confirm the design, price and signed approval before production. The first 50% is due at that stage. Your project tracker shows progress, and we coordinate the expected fabrication and installation schedule with you.
Do you work with designers and contractors?
Yes. Horus works with Massachusetts homeowners, designers, builders and remodelers. Include your project contact and schedule when you submit your request.
